MCP Server: Example Prompts for AI-Powered Search in Q.wiki

Modified on Fri, 17 Jul at 1:13 PM

With the MCP server, you can access your Q.wiki directly through your AI assistant (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot).

You can retrieve processes, clarify responsibilities, leave comments, and much more.

The following example prompts will help you get started quickly.

Retrieve Knowledge Quickly

  • “How does our [e.g. complaint handling] process work? Summarize the key steps.”
  • “What do I need to consider as a [role] regarding [e.g. supplier approval]?”

Clarify Roles & Responsibilities

  • “Who is responsible for [topic/process] in our company?”
  • “Which tasks and processes are assigned to the role [role name]?”

Onboarding & Training

  • “Create an onboarding checklist for a new person in the role of [role] – based only on our documented processes.”

Check Consistency & Quality

  • “Read through the process [name] and point out any gaps, unclear responsibilities, or contradictions.”
  • “Compare our process [name] with common best practices / [standard, e.g. ISO 9001] and suggest areas for improvement. Write these as a comment on the page.”
Works even better if you attach the standard.

Stay on Top of Things

  • “Which pages were most recently updated for the role [role]?”
  • “What open tasks do I have in Q.wiki?”
  • “What has changed for my role in the last x days?”

Document Meeting Insights

  • “The transcript of my call with [name] from [date] is stored in [tool]. Read through it, find the matching process in Q.wiki that it relates to, and add the discussed improvements as a comment there. At the end, give me the title and link of the page you commented on so I can review the result directly.”
