Risks and opportunities are created and enriched with information using the same issue-type mechanism in Q.wiki. This article shows you which fields you can fill in and how to export or delete an issue.
Prerequisites
- The Risk or Opportunity issue type must be enabled for your team
Step by step
- Select the issue type Risk or Opportunity to create a new issue. The available fields are identical for both issue types.
- Fill in the following fields:
- Subject: Required field
- Description: Description of the risk or opportunity
- Status: one of several statuses depending on the issue type – see Assess risks or Assess opportunities
- Responsible: the people responsible
- Editor: the people responsible for working on it
- Confidential: determines whether the issue is visible to all team members or only to the owner and editor
- Resubmission date: free to use, for example as a reminder for a regular reassessment
- Review required: flags the issue for an upcoming review
- Click Save.

Add information to a risk or opportunity
You have several ways to add information to a risk or opportunity:
- The description gives you the editor functions you're already familiar with.
- You can link other pages.
- You can link one or more issues.
- You can add file attachments.
Comments are also a good way to discuss the issue as a team.

Export or delete a risk or opportunity
You can print a risk or opportunity or save it as a PDF using your browser's print function, via the three-dot menu Print in the top right of the issue view. The same menu also lets you delete the issue.

Result
The risk or opportunity is created, enriched with the relevant information, and visible to your team – or, depending on the setting, restricted to the owner and editor.
