Create an issue

This article shows you how to create a new issue and which fields are available.

Select a team

If you're already an owner, editor, or guest of an existing team, you'll see your teams on the overview page.

If a team name isn't self-explanatory, click the info icon to see the team's description.

Click the team tile to open the team.

Create an issue

  1. Open a team and click + New issue.

  2. The team is already pre-selected. However, you can also switch between the teams you're a member of. Select the desired issue type.

  3. Enter a meaningful subject. This field is required.

Set issue fields

Status

A status can be assigned individually to each transaction. The status categories vary depending on the transaction type.

Team owners and editors can view the status history via the Changes tab.

Responsible

The person set as Responsible is accountable for the issue overall and is notified about deadlines.

Editor

The Editor is responsible for working on the issue's content and is also notified about deadlines.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is set to Yes by default. In this case, the issue is only visible to the team's owners and editors.

If confidentiality is set to No, all team members — including any guest — can see the issue.

Good to know: A guest can still see an issue marked confidential if they created it themselves.

Resubmission

You can also enter the follow-up date in the format DD.MM.YYYY, or select it using the date picker. No follow-up date is set by default.

Good to know: When the follow-up date is reached, the Responsible, Editor, and reviewer receive a notification.
Important: Depending on the issue type, additional fields may be available for you to fill in.
